1. Rayon

Who doesn’t know rayon? It’s made with thin semi-synthetic fibers, rayon is a good lining option that is also soft and breathable. When it comes to garments it will add a silky glide effect that makes your product more premium. Rayon is also the best choice whenever you like to add aesthetic finishes on your clothing.

2. Cotton

Cotton is a good material to use in casual, summer, or dress clothing. Is breathable and hypoallergenic, everyone could use it without a risk of irritation or any skin problems. But since cotton does not glide smoothly like some other lining fabric, it’s not suitable for lining jackets or coats, but if you ask about lining in summer clothing it’s the best choice.

3. Polyester

Polyester is one of the best fabrics for lining, it’s shiny and durable. Polyester is another great choice for casual, and very well for outdoor clothing. When we talk about outdoor clothing then polyester is the best choice, besides feeling warm, it is also windbreaker. In fact that polyester is not breathable as cotton, you could ask for mesh construction that brings more air ventilation like a sports jacket did.

4. Silk

Silk is a kind of luxury fabric, this kind of lining that is used in high-end clothing. It’s very expensive because of its limited availability and production costs. Even if silk is really good for lining; strength, anti-wrinkle, and beautiful looks, it is really hard to care for. Is highly susceptible to damage from the basic elements like a tiny bit of water that can make visible stain, and sunlight that weakens the fibers of silk.
