The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines running as “to go faster than a walk; specifically: to go steadily by springing steps so that both feet leave the ground for an instant.” The key is that both feet are in the air at the same time. By comparison, one foot is always in contact with the ground when you walk. Running is less efficient than walking, as mentioned earlier, precisely because you must propel your body weight through the air. What’s the difference with Jogging? The movement is similar; running is just faster.
Both running and jogging are forms of aerobic exercise (Physical activity that increases the heart rate and the body’s use of oxygen) It helps improve a person’s physical fitness. Make sure you warm up and stretch thoroughly before you head out, to help reduce muscle soreness and lessen your risk of injury.
Running or Jogging depends on your fitness goal: If you are new to exercise, you want an exercise routine that is more vigorous than walking, jogging may be just right for you! but if you want to burn more calories in less time then choose running.
Finally both of them are good exercises that can significantly improve physical and mental health. Jogging and running can reduce stress, improve heart health, and even help alleviate symptoms of depression. Don’t forget to practice social distancing when you exercise in public places. We also recommended you to wear proper clothes to maximize your running experience.
