 More than half of our clothes are made from cotton, we love to wear cotton clothes because it feels comfortable and we know it’s made from natural resources. Even if you realized that cotton products are really close to us everyday, you have no idea about what organic cotton really is? Or maybe you still believed that all cotton is organic. 1. Organic Cotton uses less water than Cotton
 Difference with conventional cotton that used extensive irrigation system, cotton organic is watered using rainfall. This kind of dryland cotton method is sustainable and it’s believed to produce the finest and the best quality of cotton.
2.Organic Cotton doesn’t use pesticides
 Pesticides are dangerous for the environment, they can make their way into a water source, such as a river, ocean, or pond. Which has potency to make its source become chemical contaminated. But we don’t have to worry because organic cotton doesn’t use pesticides.
3. Organic Cotton has lower CO2 emission than Cotton
 Organic cotton is able to reduce carbon emissions because organic farming requires crop rotation techniques that naturally sequester carbon and keep it from entering the atmosphere.
4. Organic Cotton harvest method is handpicking
 Rather than conventional cotton that uses a mechanical machine, organic cotton is harvested by hand. Maybe it’s a slow traditional method, but with more value-advantages; handpicking methods reduce waste in the farming process and are totally safe for workers. Handpicking also allows for better protection of the cotton fibers.
