Yoga is a type of exercise in which you move your body into various positions in order to become more fit or sflexible, to improve your breathing, and to relax your mind. Yoga is more than a sport; it involves a spiritual and philosophical aspect that most sports do not. Origins from ancient India then adapted around the world in a variety of ways.

To start doing Yoga you need essential equipment as follow :

1. Yoga Mats

It is specially fabricated mats used to prevent your hands and feet slipping when doing Yoga poses. Good Yoga Mats need to be storable and portable, yet comfy and cushy.

2. Yoga Strap

This is a piece of equipment you will use for wrapping yourself up tightly to deepen the effect of some of the stretches. Choose a longer strap if you are tall or struggle with flexibility.

3. Comfortable Clothing

Yoga sessions will take between half an hour to 1 hour, make sure you are comfortable with your clothes. The variety of clothing you should wear is; Shorts, Capris, Tanks. Pullover, Yoga Pants, Sport Bra, and Yoga Tops.

4. Towel and Drink Water

Yoga is a kind of workout and I can promise you will sweat, so don’t forget to bring Towel. A bottle of water is also needed to prevent you from dehydration.

The best place for doing Yoga is outdoors, you can do Yoga in your backyard, at a park, or by the pool. Places with open air will give you more benefits than doing indoors; it can revitalize your lungs, refill your daily dose of vitamin D from sunshine, improve your heart health, and etc.
